“Faithfest is an event which creates an opportunity for young people to have fun, make friends and explore faith, it’s a space where young people can be themselves. Faithfest is on Friday 13th March from 6:30 – 9:30pm in Holy Diocesan College, Clonliffe Rd, Drumcondra.  The theme is Dream Big. Some of the workshops will include: Cage Soccer, Meditation, Self-Esteem and Music.

Don’t forget to bring along your consent form which can be downloaded below: www.evangelisation.ie or may be picked up from tables inside the church.  Reminder to everyone coming to Faithfest – the entrance to Clonliffe is through the Mater Dei Carpark. The blue gates are closed.

We are inviting our young people from our parish to come along, they will need to bring the consent form mentioned above and €2.

Advice re. containing the Coronavirus based on HSE guidance

  • Please do not attend if you are ill.
  • The practice of shaking hands on greeting and departure at religious services/ gatherings is being suspended for both religious leaders/clergy and laity.
  • Our holy water fonts are not to be used.
  • Everyone administering Holy Communion should wash their hands or use alcohol based hand gel before beginning.
  • Holy Communion will be administered into the hands only and NOT onto the tongue
  • Only the celebrant should drink from the Chalice. No one else should drink from the Chalice – this includes other priests, ministers of the Eucharist and members of the congregation.
  • Please wash hands regularly and use the gels provided throughout the church

We would kindly remind the small number of persons who are leaving clothes, religious objects, magazines etc. in the church or church porches to refrain from doing so.  We have nowhere to store them nor do we have the facility to pass them on.
